MOULD IS EVERYWHERE! Mould is a very robust organism and can be found in a variety of environments. Inhaling the spores, mycotoxins and MVOC’s, the hazardous by-products of mould growth and decay, may lead to adverse health effects. The first step in combating mould contamination is to confirm the presence and extent of the contamination. There are many actions that can be taken to identify, rectify and prevent the spread of mould. We provide various types of training on Mould, it’s hazards, safety precautions and remediation techniques. Mould & Building Overview - Training Time: 2 Hours Directed to the Real Estate, Insurance and Construction industries, building owners and managers. The focus is how Mould starts, sensory indicators and various levels of technical response. Mould Emergency Worker - Training Time 4 Hours Basic training for a worker to respond to the discovery of Mould contamination after an emergency such as flooding due to heavy rain, sewer backup, watering during fire fighting etc.. Mould Removal Worker - Training Time: 8 Hours In depth training of workers regularly involved in Mould contamination remediation. Specific hands on training on respiratory protection and personal protective equipment requirements as well as cleanup and waste disposal procedures. Mould Removal Supervisor - Training Time: 8 hours Supervisor competency training on the design, setup and supervision of various levels of Mould contamination remediation work. Program covers OH&S Regulatory requirements, current Standards and Guidelines, personal protective equipment requirements for workers and the protection of other building occupants.
