Asbestos was commonly used in Canadian building design and construction until the late 1980’s. Commonly used building materials, included: fire proofing, mechanical equipment insulation such as pipes, ducts and furnaces. Asbestos was also commonly found in drywall joint compound, floor and ceiling tiles, outdoor siding materials, and many types of insulation. Hard asbestos containing material, also included, cement pipes and drains as well wall board used around fireplaces and as acoustic material. If you work in a building with asbestos containing material (ACM) you are a candidate for one of our ASBESTOS TRAINING PROGRAMS Our Asbestos training programs, presented by our registered MTCU trainer, will give you the knowledge to Identify and React appropriately to potential Asbestos hazards Courses Available Include: Overview (2 Hours) — For Owners Managers and Occupants of buildings with Asbestos Maintenance & Custodial Worker( 4 Hours) — Emergency response to disturbance of ACM and routine maintenance Asbestos Removal Worker & Supervisor — In accordance with Regulated MTCU Requirements Our Asbestos training programs include: All Written Materials and Manuals In Class Instruction Documented Record of Training for the Employer Proof of Training for the Employee All Training is Conducted On Site or at Other Suitable Facility Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) Registered Trainer LET WPI BE YOUR REGISTERED SAFETY TRAINING PROVIDER
